Natural Products Expo East in Baltimore

Once again, we are exhibiting at the Natural Products Expo East in Baltimore, September 18-20th . Last year’s show was such a success for Laughing Giraffe Organics we are confidant of another winning event. This event is by far the largest natural, organic and healthy food show in the East which last year drew over 1,200 exhibitors displaying to over 22,000 attendees. This year‘s show is sold out and will be even larger than in 2013.

This is one of the best trade events in the country providing a perfect venue for buyers to meet producers face to face. At these shows, we often meet our customers for the first time in person. These meetings allow us to gain a deeper understanding of the challenges they face every day in their stores. This information is invaluable as we formulate winning strategies for the marketplace.

Laughing Giraffe Organics (LGO) has been busy with fall travel having just returned home from the KeHE Distributor’s Customer Appreciation show in Indianapolis, Indiana held October 19 & 20. The past two months have been busy as LGO previously exhibited at the KeHE show in Orlando, FL September 14 & 15 and in the East Coasts’ largest natural foods and organic product trade show, the Natural Products EXPO EAST show held in Baltimore, MD September 25 – 29.

LGO is excited about increasing market presence in the eastern region and the trade shows have proven to be a great success.  Attending the East Coast shows have been a great opportunity to meet new retailers, brokers, and staff from our distribution centers, that are a key part of our expansion program to the eastern region,” said Chelsea Marshall, President.  “We are encouraged by the positive responses and it has been fun introducing our products to many new retailers and consumers.”

LGO will be back at the home front for a while and is looking forward to a new and exciting year in 2014 with the addition of a new distribution center and broker firm along with introduction of new products.

Laughing Giraffe Organics (LGO) recently returned from exhibiting at the world’s largest natural foods and organic product tradeshow, the Natural Products EXPO WEST in Anaheim, CA, held March  8 – 10, 2013

Chelsea Marshall, President, expressed excitement about LGO’s participation in EXPO WEST and the fantastic sales generated from connections during the show. She said “the show was a huge success and we were exceptionally pleased with many great opportunities that have developed from contacts during the show.” In addition, “LGO was able to meet with our current customers and brokers, as LGO is always committed to continuing quality support to brokers, assistance with product demonstrations, and marketing of our products.”

LGO is beginning to make concerted steps to develop a market presence in the Midwest and East coast markets

Phil and Kathy Gilmour (owners) and Chelsea (President) and Michael Marshall took Laughing Giraffe Organics (LGO) on its first road trip east of the Rockies when they manned LGO’s booth at EXPO East in Baltimore, MD.  LGO is beginning to make concerted steps to develop a market presence in the Midwest and East coast markets.

Chelsea Marshall, LGO’s President and the daughter of the Gilmours , indicated that “We were extremely pleased with the show and it proved to be one of our most successful in terms of new customers and orders.  We are committing a major part of 2013 marketing budget to the East and this trip gave us some real confidence in our plan.” Chelsea went on to say “We have not wanted to enter markets that we did not believe we could support them fully.  We are now in a position to offer quality support by expanding our broker network, product demonstrations, promotions and ads.  I’m really looking forward to developing this market.”
